2. Fill it with toiletries, sweets or cookies, a data voucher, arts or crafts.
3. Cover it in wrapping paper.

Modules that are dealt with are: the effective caregiver, regulations and the rights of the elderly, the elderly person’s body, the sick room, accessories/devices and aids, bath and full wash, nutrition and disease conditions. Safety aspects and first aid are also addressed. CHILD CARE This course consists of 3 parts: Life Skills, Baby Care and Toddler Care. Baby care modules are general baby care, baby massage, sign language, stimulation, first aid and baby illnesses. In Childcare, topics such as child development, perceptual development, creative activities, music and the daily programme for crèches are dealt with. 10-DAY COOKING The 10-day course includes the following modules: personal development, hygiene, measurement and metrics,herbs and garnishing. Dishes are practically prepared and include light meals, main meals, desserts and salads. A recipe book is provided.
